Hello everyone! It’s now three weeks after our first attempt at the Devikins NFT shop opening and we’re now ready to reopen it. In order to offer a seamless experience, changes had to be made.
Soft Mint and Hard Mint notions have been dropped out. We are instead adopting the NFT industry standard, and thus have a singular, standard mint. Therefore, when you buy an NFT pack, that NFT is promptly created in the blockchain and you are the owner of the token. No one has the power to transfer or burn it but you. By streamlining the mint process we lose the burn four NFTs to reroll mechanic, however, on the bright side, everyone who owns an NFT will be fully prepared to offer it in the Marketplace (when it opens later) and send it to Devikins Game.
Regarding gas fee, the transfer and hard mint fees have been combined. Unfortunately, the fee is set by the blockchain and it is not under our control. The energy needed is around 155,000 per NFT mint and in addition our tests showed that there is no decrease in bulk mint, and that gas fee increase is linear. To have 155,000 energy, a player has to either freeze around 6160 TRX or have around 22 TRX free to burn. Due to the gas fee combination we are offering progressive discounts to some packs. Team Packs (Four NFTs) will have a 2% discount on the DVK price, and Collector’s Packs (Ten NFTs) will have 5% discount.
For those who own a soft-minted NFT, the inventory screen will offer an option to pay the fee to hard mint your NFT.
Last but not least, the planned events for the shop opening will be on. Klever Personality will have an increased drop chance of 0.5% within the first week, in addition to the guaranteed Eldritch drop. Due to the shop system changes the Eldritch will not be in the pool, but instead will work as a giveaway, with each NFT a player buys in the shop during the first week being worth one ticket entry to the Eldritch Draw.
