Devikins Update 1.1
Hello everyone! Today we’re releasing the 1.1 Patch of Devikins - and with it comes new features and balancing changes. In this article we will briefly discuss all the exciting additions and changes included in the patch.
First of all, as discussed in our article last week, the referral program is up and running. For the next two weeks all players referred by you will grant you five Mynthe Seeds any time they earn Mynthe Seeds by performing Chores. After two weeks, the referral will grant you two Mynthe Seeds.
Next, We have Guild Donations dropping today. Guildmates will be able to help one another by donating various training items and even incubators. Once a day, any Guildmate can request any Common, Uncommon, or Rare item. The maximum amount of items that can be donated depends on their rarity. Up to five Common, three Uncommon and one Rare item may be donated.
Moreover, we have added the DVK Transaction History screen to the game, where you can inspect your DVK spend, and how much you earned from previous DVK pools. The only piece missing from this new addition at the moment is External Deposit tracking, which we intend to add in a future update.
As discussed in another, previous article — in order to prevent multi accounting we have added an emulator block and in addition to this, accounts with only Dummykin will not be able to withdraw DVK. Furthermore, we made balancing changes to the game so as to decrease the amount of Mynthe Seeds an account playing only with Dummykin can earn.
Speaking of balancing, we have introduced a brand new Chore: Growing Pains. This is to incentivize further improvement of your Roster. The Growing Pains Chore will, each day, allow you to earn a reward once you’ve increased any number of Devikin’s attributes by a sum total of ten points.
We’ve also removed the Start One Void Adventure Chore, increased the Void Adventure Chore total completion to five, as well as removed the Mynthe Seed rewards given for claiming ten free packs since it could be exploited by Dummykin accounts.
Next up, we’re introducing Pink Tickets.
Void Adventures are a wild ride, and now they have a toll. Many Void Adventures now charge a user Pink Tickets, a new resource, to initiate — therefore increasing the strategy involved in deciding which Void Adventures one wants to complete. This change is meant to prevent gameplay stagnation, as Devikins was lacking proper challenge once one has attained a full roster of adult Devikin.
And, that’s not all folks.
We’ve added minimum attribute requirements to numerous Void Adventures to ensure properly trained Devikin have utility. We have also added dozens of new Void Adventures aimed towards Devikins hardcore playerbase, all of which reward more Mynthe Seeds than your standard Adventure.
Finally, as many players have been asking, we have Void Adventures tailored for the Klever personality, and thus the new Ninja Infiltration Adventure is available for all. In addition to this, the Corrupted Egg Search will show up for M.A.D players.
Two major bug fixes have also been implemented, with one being improved In-App purchase flow. If your game crashes during the purchase confirmation screen, the game will restore your purchase after restarting the game. Secondly, we’ve fixed daily login rewards not updating one’s Mynthe Seed balance.
To cap this announcement off we have one last bit of news regarding Void Adventures. Effective immediately we have rebalanced the amount of Mynthe Seeds that Void Adventures earn as a whole so that Chores become more relevant to your Mynthe Seeds income.
Thank you everyone, and we hope you enjoy this update.
