Devikins Combat, Early Access Release Coming Soon!
We’ve got some extremely exciting news for you today, seeing as the wait is almost over!
Cutting right out of the gate, Devikins Early Access is arriving on April 19th, and alongside it comes our first Seasonal Mint.
Early Access is planned to come with three regions for Story Mode, the asynchronous PvP Weekly League, and our real time PvP Seasons. Early Access is available to every player, and all progression will be carried over to the full launch.
Seasonal Mint, as mentioned, will kick off at the same time as Early Access. As part of this, players will be able to exchange Void Scraps for Forging Materials. 15,000 Void Scraps will be worth one Weapon or Equipment Forge Material. Skills will cost 5000 Void Scraps. We’ve estimated that roughly 20,000 NFTs will be minted using Void Scraps based on how many have already been collected.
Moreover, if you’re still itching to fill out your arsenal, there will be an additional 100,000 NFTs available for purchase as part of the first Seasonal Mint — adding up to 120,000 Combat NFTs in total.
Every day there will be a limited number of Combat NFTs available for purchase in the store, which can be bought via In-App purchases and DVK, until the 120,000 NFT (Weapon and Equipment combined) figure is reached. As mentioned in the Combat Whitepaper, there will be packs of 1, 4, and 10 weapons as well as packs of 1, 4, 8, and 16 pieces of equipment.
Price Table:
Weapon x1 — 4.99
Weapon x4 — 17.99
Weapon x10 — 44.99
Equipment x1 — 3.99
Equipment x4 — 14.99
Equipment x8 — 29.99
Equipment x16 — 57.99
Players will have until April 30th to exchange all their Void Scraps via an exclusive collection of Void Adventures. After that, all remaining Void Scraps will be removed, followed by a new Seasonal Mint period where Void Scraps can once more be collected in preparation for forging.
Accompanying this Early Access release, we have a short-term roadmap of additional features that will be coming to the game.
We expect to release the Transmute mechanic at the end of May, a feature all veterans will be quite familiar with.
Transmute will allow players to burn four Devikins of identical rarity (All Common, Uncommon etc.) to get a random weapon of the same rarity. In order to perform a Transmutation, a brand new item will be required. This item will be airdropped to all players based on their account level come the release of Transmutation.
We’re also also planning on releasing M.A.D 2.0 at the end of May, which expands the benefits of M.A.D and brings them in-line with the massive additions to the game that come with combat.
Finally, and most exciting of all — the full, official Devikins 2.0 release will be arriving in July.
We hope you’re as excited for this launch as we are, and we can’t wait to see all of you jump into the Void as well as the arena.
